A flood-prone neighborhood protected before monsoon season - three weeks early.

The Challenge

A Summit County neighborhood flooded twice in three years. The county needed an undersized culvert network replaced with a detention pond and outlet structure — finished before the next monsoon season, at 9,000 feet, where the working season is short.

What We Did

Our crews self-performed all of it: the pond excavation, the rock-lined inlets, the structural concrete outlet, and the utility relocations that always surprise everyone on retrofit work. One team, one schedule, no hand-off gaps.

The Result

Finished three weeks early and fully seeded before the first big cell of the season. The pond took its first real storm eight days after completion.
