The Challenge
A gateway corridor project needed 3.2 miles of curb, gutter, and sidewalk with constant grade changes through rolling terrain — and ADA compliance checked at every ramp by a notoriously thorough inspector.
What We Did
We ran our slip-form paver on stringless 3D guidance directly from the design model — no stringline crews, no accumulated error through the curves. Flatwork crews followed with ramps and landings formed to the model’s exact slopes.
The Result
Every ramp passed ADA slope verification on the first inspection. The corridor opened on schedule.
